I’ve been meaning to post this blog with the recipes for the above since I made them 12/21/14 for the Winter Solstice Yin/Yang Yoga & Crystal Bowls Experience at Yoga + Bergamot with Jack Greene. Everyone gobbled the truffles and blissfully drank up all the chai post-yoga! Warming, nourishing and fulfilling — the perfect healthy, sweet & spicy treat for any occasion…. enjoy!

Crock Pot Chai Tea Latte – recipe adapted from www.wellnessmama.com
Ingredients:
4 cups water
4 cups coconut milk
8 tea bags OR ½ cup loose leaf black tea…. I used Organic Choice Black Tea (black is the traditional tea brewed for chai), but you can instead opt for caffeine-free herbal tea, like Raspberry Leaf Stevia Extract to taste (start light!!)
8 thin slices of fresh ginger root
6 cinnamon sticks
8-10 whole cloves
2 cardamon pods
1 teaspoon of real vanilla extract

Instructions
Put water in crock pot and add tea, herbs and spices
Cook on high for 2-2.5 hours or on low for up to 6. Add coconut milk and stevia and stir until heated
Serve plain or topped with the cream from a can of coconut milk… mmmmm!
