‘22 Spring Equinox ~ Zion Yoga Retreat

At the turn of seasons this year, from Winter to Spring, I journeyed from San Diego to southwestern Utah to lead a group of yogis on a “post-pandemic” retreat. The two years prior of global stress, lock-downs, mandates, and uncertainty certainly wore on the lot of us, and I felt strongly that it was time to gather for such an adventure, to heal and receive a new era. This region of the country had been calling me for quite some time; Zion National Park and its surroundings are an intriguing place full of natural beauty and wildness!

The Great American Outdoors Yoga Retreat of 2018!

From time to time, one must break out and seek a new environment to stimulate the senses and creative capacity, as well as heal and rehabilitate in order to come back into life stronger and more robust. This is why we all love VACATION… ever presence and honoring of one self. This is the idea, at least, on a yoga retreat.

Baja Mexico Yoga Retreat

As eighteen souls shuttled themselves across the border and arrived at Casa Mil Flores in Baja Mexico, I watched as layers of labels were stripped away as if to say, "if not here, where?" No longer were they nurses, teachers, parents, or wives, but instead humans searching for inner peace and purpose. When the spirit inside is no longer attached to the ego, and titles like fashion designer, attorney, software engineer, woodworker or entrepreneur are swept aside, there's an opportunity to fill that empty space with light.

Cactus Moon Yoga Retreat

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of co-leading a weekend yoga retreat with Arielle Rabier. Inspired by the 2014 retreats I led solo to the high desert (Desert Hot Springs), we reserved an Airbnb in Yucca Valley, equipped with a yoga studio and panoramic, desert mountain vistas. I will say from the get-go that the experience of co-leading a retreat this time (my first time ever) was truly wonderful in that Arielle met me halfway there, shared the load and burden of making a flier, attracting clients, marketing, deposit, arrangements, and organization galore.
